the world forgotten by the world forgot

its far too hot these days. i dont even remember what it feels like to wear a cardigan anymore. all my lovely scarves and sweaters are folded up and stashed at the very bottom of my wardrobe. i really do deteste summer. the fashion in blacktown (where i live) is usually dissappointing, and the girls traipse around in barely there shorts and singlets hanging by a thread. ive managed to get through summer though, in floral dresses and oversized tees with leggings.. but even theyre too hot for summer.

school today was fairly simple. i woke up late after an awful nights sleep, and spent two hours slowly getting ready for school. i skipped the first two periods, and showed my bright and happy face just at the end of morning tea. then the two middle periods were free periods, and i spent them with the lovely corinne and amy in the c block corridor, sitting on the comfy carpet by the drink machines. i only went to sit for a minute or two, but we ended up lounging there for an hour or so. it was rather comfortable. lunchtime was just the girls today. and we spent it talking to a lovely kid in year eleven who has big brown eyes and lovely lovely lashes. carlys told me his name was jayden. we also spent a bit of time staring at this boy that ive seen around the college, who apparently never talks to anyone but the friends he sits with by the library. according to carly, hes really rather smart. and according to me, hes really rather gorgeous! but enough of that...
i was searching around on topshop, and i found hundreds of pounds worth of stuff that i wish i could charge onto one of my many prepaid visas, andhave them shipped off to me. but the mothership has told me to hold off on topshop stuff until i go there at the end of this year. im not sure i could wait that long though! and all this stuff will be gone, and replaced with even more amazing clothes!

how absolutely lovely is that tiny floral bubble skirt? i want it now! i just know it'll look completely gorgeous with those baby blue heels.

im considering a revamp of my bedroom. ive got my hsc art major work to do over the next seven months, and i'll be needing somewhere to take my photographs. and since my house is filled to the brim with my sister, her boyfriends and their kids, i wont be able to use the spare rooms in the house. right now my bedroom is a mess, and its got a mix of completely random things. one wall is full of nylon and vogue cutouts and pretty flowered canvases. another wall is covered ceiling to floor with large mirrors, which have been written on my the millions of people that have been in my bedroom. and another wall is boring as hell, with my mcfly calendar, my table and dresser, and a lovely beatles poster with a penis drawn on it (courtesy of the tossers i used to be friends with.)

i do love my room, it has plenty of personality, but i need it to look a bit less like this...

you can see my sportsgirls bags, my teacups, my leopard print covers and my union jack table cloth. sometimes when i look at the chaos that is my bedroom, i cringe.

and a little more like this...

its a lovely video, and when im older i want a flat just like this one. if luke pritchard came with the package, life would be perfect.

i have french class tomorrow. have i mentioned yet that we've got an italian exhange student in our class, and hes rather nice to look at! just the motivation i need to parlay vous francais (even though hes italian) but hes there, isnt he?

oh and before i go, heres a little tidbit of information on what i do when im bored. i go on wikipedia and research some lovely models and actors. and one of my favourites at the moment (actually, for a few years now) is model and actor, alex pettyfer. hes in the absolutely stunning burberry spring campaign '08, with agyness and various others. and i l-l-l-love it! i saw it in a magazine a while back, but i was just admiring it earlier on today. what i'd give for a piece of alex.. er.. i mean burberry.

arent they all beautiful? alex is in the top left corner. the blonde bloke. i quite fancy the red head too.

fear me, dear

today was pleasant. i woke up at half seven this morning, despite the fact that my first class of the day began at eight. rather than rush about the house trying to get ready, i slowly got myself dressed for school, and didnt leave for school til half nine. the mothership didnt mind, i told her i had photography. and i got a nice piece of buttered toast out of the deal. lazy mornings are amazing.

when i finally did get to school, the day was simple, because id missed out on my first two periods, and went straight on through to morning tea. i only had two periods left of the day, society and culture, because classes finish at half twelve every friday.

so rather than go home (it was far too hot to wait for the bus) i caught the train down to blacktown with carly and i spent a few hours chatting to her in pet centre (the least busy section of big w). ive turned into one of those pathetic employees that come into work even when theyre not working.

but oh, we did have fun. i went and got myself a chicken wrap from hungry jacks, then i had a wander about pet centre, planning what i am going to buy for my pet mouse, which i havent bought yet. i will soon though. it'll be fantastic, and i will name him/her pumpkin.

i was going to buy myself some new rimmel make-up, because i need some new foundation, but i changed my mind. its such a pity too, because if you spend more than $15 on any rimmel products, you get a lovely carry all bag with images of london on it. rather than buy the make-up, i moseyed on over to the entertainment section and bought myself a 'charlie and lola' dvd. carly and i watched it on the plasma screens in pet centre. we also made lame attempts at drawing charlie and his lovely sister (on a blank big w receipt nonetheless). i made charlie a bit fatter than i meant to. and carlys attempt at lola made the poor girl look slightly wrong. anorxic maybe?

after i finished at blacktown, i went home to find ther house empty, so i decided to make myself useful. ive amde a mess painting the frame of a pinboard black. im going to cover the cork part with some gorgeous giftwrap a la kath kdston (sort of) when the paints dried, and the product is complete, i'll post a photo. im sure it'll be lovely.

after finishing with the board, i made myself some tea with the tea set i bought for myself the other day. i took a picture as well. and its also got one of my schoolbooks in it. its covered with borders gift wrap, just like i said it would be.

ive not got work tomorrow. i told my supervisor, chris, that i just had far too much school work to do. its true. i was terribly lazy this summer, and i didnt get anything done. my fault, as always. ive promised myself i'll get as much as i can done tomorrow, minus distractions. unless its hot, and i decide to hop into the massive blow up pool ive put up in my garden.

tonight though, i plan on sitting in front of the widescreen watching zoolander, eurotrip and final destination with the sister and her boyfriend. today was excellent. and before i go, just a little picture for you...

leona edmiston

the mothergoose and i went shopping the other day and while she went looking through the bag department of myer (which i usually deteste due to the horrid prices of hideous bags), i came across a lovely bag that i reall really reall want! it was $245 and it was a 100% plastic clutch bag, and it was utterly delicious. i couldnt stop looking at it. i calculated, and its basically two weeks of my casual rate pay (but it leaves some extra spending money!) i want it! it doesnt look like much in the picture, but when its in your hands, you really feel the value. and i adore anything by leona.

tata for now!

yesterday at school, some friends and i indulged in a lovely gossip session during our free periods. i took this silly little photo while lying on my back under the shade of a pretty tree. i think carly may have been rambling about the amazing year eleven boy she had just met in homeroom. shes a lurker, that one. and a vegan at that.

the lovely life of a check out chick

first day back at school today. also the first day of my last year of school. to say the least, it wasnt at all exciting. actually, it was rather boring. the hallowed halls of wyndham college are filled to the brim with squeaky clean year eleveners who are always in the way. ive only met about a handful of them, and theyre rather lovely, but the others just continuosly irritate me.

i had work as well, which was inconvenient for me, because its currently 40 degrees celsius outside and about 30 degrees celsius inside, and im a sweaty sweaty mess about 40% of the time. its not pleasant, not at all. i also wanted to spend some quality time with the canines today, but it was just too hot, and i only had a mere three hours to snooz before work. said canines are absolutely gorgeous. (see below) theres arnold, the loveable bulldog. its rather scary when hes happy to see you, coz he can literally knock you over with one jump. then theres tyson, the mini foxie who thinks hes part of the mafia. hes such a meanie, and constantly bites and growls at arnold, but hes a little munchkin to me, and thats all that matters.

jesus, the mothership is calling me. must run. til next time... i promise my post will be much lovelier next time. scouts honour.

oh, and ig ot paid today! shopping tomorrow.
